Our vision
Every woman has a place
Build up women, both churched and unchurched, to rise above their challenges, insecurities and limitations and fully express God’s glory within and upon them — and equip women to discover who they are and what their purpose is.
We provide practical tools for successful living, and connect women with each other and with other women of influence, through workshops, annual conferences and small groups.

The movement
A movement, not a weekend
iShine is a global women’s movement — a year-round community where conferences ignite transformation, workshops build capacity, and authentic relationships fuel lifelong growth, empowering every woman to thrive in every season of life.
It began at The CityLight Church in Chicago and is hosted there, and it has never belonged to one church or one city. Eight annual conferences since 2018, women joining from Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Zambia, Nigeria, Uganda, Austria, India and Pakistan, and a conference of its own in Pakistan in 2025.
Between Novembers there is a Word for the Day, a monthly gathering, small groups, workshops, and women who know your name. The conference is where the movement gathers — it is not where it lives.
